Home is nowhere special; it’s just wherever you are. You can make any place your home by building and repairing and nurturing the place where you are, along with yourself and the people around you. The capitalist-imperialist machine enacts violence through displacement. From the Nakba to ICE raids to encampment sweeps, it rips people away from the very homes they’ve labored to build. This project is both joy for those who have found a home and grief for those who have lost theirs.
